Data Collection
We do not require you to create an account to use port.pub. We accept any SSH public key without verification. Your IP address is processed transiently to establish connections but is not permanently stored.
Cookies
port.pub does not use cookies. The service operates entirely through SSH tunneling without any browser-based session management.
Logs & Data Retention
We do not keep permanent logs of your connections or traffic content. Runtime debug logs may be generated during operation but are not persisted. Active tunnel information (subdomain assignments) exists only in memory and is removed when your SSH connection ends.
Law Enforcement Cooperation
We cooperate with law enforcement agencies when required by law. However, due to our minimal data collection practices, we have very limited information available. We do not maintain historical connection logs or traffic records.
Traffic & Encryption
Traffic between your local machine and our servers is encrypted via the SSH tunnel. Traffic between end users accessing your tunnel URL and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We do not inspect the contents of your traffic. Your data is protected with end-to-end encryption from the user's browser through our servers to your local machine via the SSH tunnel.
